Security arrangements for FIPIC summit in place says Police Commissioner Manning

Police Commissioner David Manning is confident with security arrangements for leaders attending the Forum for India Pacific Islands Countries (FIPIC) summit.

He said members of the security forces (Police, PNG Defence Force and Correctional Services) have planned in earnest and committed to ensure that the world leaders’ visit was a safe and memorable one.

The summit is intended to take place from May 21 and 22 and will be attended by the US Secretary of State Anthony John Blinken, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of New Zealand Chris Hipkins, Prime Minister of Fiji Sitiveni Rabuka, and the leaders of other Pacific Island countries.
